The global pandemic has changed the way the world works, and virtual communication has become the new norm. As a world leader in innovative memory solutions that transform how the world uses Information, Micron Technology’s adaptability towards the digital landscape can be seen through the recent virtual RM1 Million University Funding Announcement and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony. Starting with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Penang, the investment was part of Micron’s effort to strengthen collaboration, research & development (R&D) projects with local universities over the next five years.
The MoU was signed between Micron Malaysia Corporate Vice President Amarjit Singh Sandhu and USM Vice-Chancellor Professor Dato’ Dr. Faisal Rafiq Bin Mahamd Adikan, and was witnessed by Penang’s Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, and Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Deputy Chief Executive Officer Sivasuriyamoorthy Sundara Raja.
Hard Work Makes the Dream Work
We played a huge part in putting the entire virtual event together. From pre-event planning to event coordination and post-production, we rose to the challenge of facilitating the ceremony on-ground and online within two weeks! We coordinated with various parties, strategised tech settings, and set up the necessary equipment prior to the virtual event to ensure that everything went smoothly. Adding to that, we also designed the event collateral that accurately reflects Micron’s vision and brand image.
